Cookies, Cache, & Offline Data Policy

Last Updated: June 25, 2026 • Head Office: Kano, Nigeria

To provide a high-performance CRM experience both online and offline (particularly for local merchants in Kano and other Northern regions with varying connectivity), Haske CRM relies on browser storage, local caching, and cookie mechanisms.

1. Session & Authentication Cookies

Haske CRM uses standard, highly secure authentication cookies to:

  • Keep you securely logged into your business dashboard.
  • Reconcile security tokens to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) exploits.
  • Store display parameters (such as English/Hausa locale preferences and Light/Dark themes).

2. IndexedDB, LocalStorage & Offline Data Cache

Because business operations must continue during network blackouts, Haske CRM utilizes standard HTML5 local storage systems (primarily IndexedDB and LocalStorage) on your device:

  • Offline Transactions: All sales, customer updates, and cash logs entered while offline are saved securely inside your browser's IndexedDB.
  • Automatic Sync: When the device returns online, these locally cached records are transmitted to public database endpoints.
  • Security Disclaimer: Data stored inside browser cache is subject to the hardware security of your own device. The merchant assumes responsibility for securing mobile terminals and clearing cache prior to transferring or disposing of hardware.

3. Browser Security Controls

Workspace owners can restrict or wipe cookies and local cache storage at any time through their browser preference settings.

Please note that blocking all local database parameters will completely disable offline recording capabilities and require constant network verification to use Haske CRM.

4. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Any legal claims or venue disputes relating to cookie controls, caching practices, or data storage on local merchant devices must be brought exclusively in the courts of Kano State, Nigeria.
